A transparent production process in 6 stages
Stage 1: Strategic design and technical development
It all starts with your vision. At this stage, we transform creative ideas into technical specifications (Tech Packs). In technical textile production, it is essential that the design takes functionality into account. Does a hunting jacket need to be quiet? Do dog handler trousers require reinforced knees? We advise on construction, fit and details that optimise the product for the end user’s needs.
Stage 2: Intelligent sourcing of textiles and components
The choice of materials defines the product’s lifespan and performance. As an experienced textile production partner, we have a global network of suppliers. We source everything from advanced membranes with high waterproof ratings to durable zips and sustainable buttons. We ensure that all materials meet the required certifications, such as OEKO-TEX or GRS, and are suitable for their intended purpose.
Stage 3: Prototyping – the physical manifestation
Before we begin full-scale production, the product needs to be tested. We develop samples (prototypes) to evaluate fit, material selection and functionality. This part of our textile production process is iterative; we make adjustments and optimise the product until it meets the required standard. This is where we eliminate potential production issues and ensure that your brand receives exactly what has been agreed.
Stage 4: Planning and production
Once the prototype has been approved, full production begins. We select the factory within our network that has the right specialist expertise for the project — whether this involves technical outdoor apparel produced in Europe or larger production volumes in Asia. Our in-depth understanding of modern textile production allows us to optimise lead times without compromising on quality.
Stage 5: Rigorous quality control (QA)
Quality assurance is not simply a final checkpoint — it is an integrated part of our entire process. Throughout production, we carry out ongoing inspections of stitching, measurement specifications and technical details. By having our own or external quality inspectors directly at the factories, we ensure that issues are identified at an early stage, helping to minimise waste and maintain consistently high-quality deliveries.
Stage 6: Logistics and secure delivery
The final stage of our textile production process is logistics. We handle everything from packing and labelling to freight and customs clearance. We ensure that the goods are delivered to your warehouse on time and in the agreed condition. Our experience with international logistics enables us to navigate the common challenges of the global supply chain.

We go into detail on technical solutions, functionality, materials and design details. This may include everything from pocket construction, ventilation solutions and seam taping to membranes, reinforcements and fit. The aim is to ensure that the final product meets the customer’s requirements for functionality, quality and appearance.
The first sales samples are presented to the customer, who has the opportunity to physically test the products. Any necessary adjustments to fit, functionality, details, colours or materials are then reviewed. This is where the product is refined until it is exactly as the customer wants it.
Before production begins, all key elements are approved:
- Fabrics and colours
- Zips
- Membranes
- Buttons, details and other trims
This ensures full quality assurance before production starts.
A PPS (pre-production sample) is produced using the correct materials. This sample serves as the reference for the entire production run.
Ongoing quality control is then carried out at the factory:
- Inline inspections
- Random sample checks
- Inspection of functions, seams and finish
This ensures that production follows the agreed requirements.
Once production is complete, shipment samples are selected for a final review before the goods are dispatched from the country of production. The goods are then packed and documented according to the customer’s specifications.
The goods arrive at our 3PL warehouse for incoming inspection, where quantities, labelling and cartons are checked.
The customer is then notified, and the goods are transported onwards to the customer’s own warehouse.
